The first Nightmare on Elm Street was very frightening...but had a little Depp to ease the fears...well at least for a while
As for Hellraiser...when I was younger Pin-head used to frighten me...I guess he still does...he was goth before there was goth!!!

is hellrasier the one with the cube that allows you to go another universe/place headed by a guy with pins in his face? if that's right then that's what i voted. that movie freaked me out as
kid but the ones with freddie scared me as well. i don't think i ever saw any of these films in theri entirety because i was scared of them. the minute i knew freddie was going o graced my tv
screen, i shut it off.
I think The Shining scared me because I didn't know what the heck was going on, LOL. Seriously...who opened the freezer and let Jack out, LOL...who...who...who!!!!

The Nightmare on Elm Street collection was not only my favorite scary movie but my favorite movies period. They should make a remake, kinda like how they're doing with Halloween.
I can't choose. They were all good and some scared me more than others. Lost Boys did not scare me but I loved the movie and the song on the movie sound track "thou shalt not kill".
I can not choose just one I like all on the list (I haven't seen Hellraiser) and others from the 80s too.
